Annual Festival “Srijan 2025” Inaugurated
Success and Failure Are Never Permanent; Youth Must Move Forward with Positive Thinking – Prof. Sarangdevot
Udaipur. The annual festival Srijan 2025 of the Faculty of Science, a constituent college of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, was inaugurated at the college auditorium. The event began with Vice-Chancellor Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Prof. Malay Paneri, Dr. Dharmendra Rajoura, and Dr. Sapna Shrimali offering floral tributes and lighting the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati.
At the outset, Director Dr. Sapna Shrimali shared details of the programme and presented the annual report. Fateh Singh Rao was crowned Mr. Srijan 2025, while Rani Khatik received the title of Miss Srijan 2025.
Students captivated the audience with energetic performances on Rajasthani, Punjabi, and remix songs, including “Khamma Ghani Khamma Ghani,” “Mishri Se Meethi Baat Thari,” “Ghoomar,” “Shanky Shanky,” “Gulabi Saari Maari Bindani Banave,” and “Maine Payal Hai Chhankai,” winning the hearts of the guests present.
Addressing the gathering, Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. S. Sarangdevot honoured winners of various competitions as well as students who secured medals at the state and national levels with mementoes and certificates. He said that success and failure are not permanent, and youth should always move ahead with a positive mindset. Cultural programmes, he noted, provide an excellent platform for students to refine their talents. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of the younger generation to preserve and pass on the rich cultural heritage to future generations.
The programme was conducted by Dr. Sidhima Sharma, while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Mangal Shri Dulawat.
Faculty members including Dr. Uttam Prakash Sharma, Dr. Bhavesh Joshi, Dr. Yogita Shrimali, Dr. Pooja Joshi, Dr. Khushboo Jain, Dr. Lokesh Suthar, Dr. Shaktika Chaudhary, Dr. Lalima Sharma, Rupesh Juniwal, along with students, enjoyed the celebrations.
