
Addressing party workers on the occasion, Meena said that the Congress is not merely a political organization, but the voice of India’s soul, which has always stood firmly with the weak, the marginalized and the working class. He emphasized that in the present times, strengthening the values of truth, courage and constitutional integrity against hatred, injustice and authoritarian tendencies is the moral responsibility of the Congress. He called upon party workers to remain united and committed towards social harmony and democratic principles.
Speaking on the occasion, Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Bhim Singh Chundawat said that the Congress Party has always championed the rights of the poor, farmers, labourers, women, youth and deprived sections of society. Standing against injustice and standing firmly with the weak has always been the identity of the Congress, he said, adding that unwavering faith in truth, non-violence, democracy and the Constitution forms the real strength and character of the party.
During the programme, several senior Congress leaders were felicitated, including Omkar Lal Menariya, Mod Singh Sisodia, Hussain Khan, Ratan Lal Purbia, Madhu Salvi, Mohan Meena, Bhuri Lal, Satish Vyas, Shankar Lal Meghwal and Bhanwar Lal Jain, who were honoured with shawls and garlands in recognition of their contribution to the organization.
The event was attended by Nawal Singh Chundawat, Shanta Prince, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, Dr. Kaushal Nagda, Bhagwati Dangi, Roop Lal Salvi, Om Prakash Gameti, Aziz Khan Pathan, Dr. Divyani Katara, Gopal Sarpata, Saurabh Sharma, Gyan Prakash Sen, Gautam Lal Meena, Ishtiyaq Chanchal, Mohammad Khan, Rajesh Menaria, Dinesh Audichya and several other office-bearers and party workers.
In continuation of the celebrations, the Foundation Day was also observed at the Udaipur City District Congress office, where District President Fatah Singh Rathore hoisted the flag and reiterated the commitment towards organizational unity and constitutional values.
