:Udaipur. The holy land of Udaipur witnessed the magnificent beginning of a rare and spiritually profound religious Mahamahotsav on Sunday, marked by the resonant sounds of drums, conch shells, and ceremonial chants. The grand event — enriched with the essence of India’s spiritual heritage, penance, yagna, and sacred rituals — commenced under the divine presence of Jagadguru Shri Vasant Vijayanand Giri Ji Maharaj, the Peethadheeshwar of Krishnagiri. The Mahotsav will continue until January 5.

Festival Committee President Nanalal Baya and General Secretary Devendra Mehta informed that the first session of the day began with a deep meditation and spiritual practice. The Sadhana Pavilion was filled to capacity, as devotees gathered in large numbers from the very first day. In the Sadhana hall, Gurudev performed rituals dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Goddess Padmavati, and Goddess Mahalaxmi, followed by an insightful discourse on the essence and power of mantras.
For nearly two hours, Gurudev guided the devotees through intense spiritual sadhana, explaining the significance of mantra recitation, vibrations, and spiritual discipline. This rare sadhana, aimed at invoking prosperity, peace, and abundance, will continue daily throughout the Mahamahotsav.

Commencement of Shri Mahalaxmi Koti Kunkumarchan Yagna
Under the divine guidance of Jagadguru Shri Vasant Vijayanand Giri Ji, the Shri Mahalaxmi Koti Kunkumarchan Yagna Puja Vidhan commenced with the worship of Lord Ganesha. The Yagna is being performed with sacred offerings in 21 hawan kunds, conducted by 135 Vedic scholars from Kashi, strictly adhering to traditional rituals.
This unique Yagna features thousands of kilograms of dry fruits, sandalwood, rare herbs, ayurvedic substances, sweets, and pure cow ghee, with lakhs of ritual offerings being made each day. Through one crore Kunkumarchan offerings, 1008 Prosperity Kalash are being spiritually energized and consecrated.
The Yagna continued for nearly four hours, during which devotees shared several profound and spiritually uplifting personal experiences. Many participants expressed awe at the rare insights into India’s ancient spiritual traditions revealed during the ceremony. The divine mantras chanted by Gurudev created an atmosphere that deeply moved both practitioners and listeners alike.
Public Representatives Marked Their Presence
Several public representatives, leaders, and office-bearers from various organizations attended the inauguration ceremony. Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena sought blessings from Gurudev and also participated in the Yagna rituals. A volunteer team from his supporter group has taken responsibility for dedicated service activities during the event.
Along with him, BJP State Vice-President Mukesh Dadhich and other party representatives, along with members of social and business organizations, also received blessings from Gurudev and expressed active participation in the Mahamahotsav.
