Udaipur — The खुदरा खाद्यपदार्थ व्यापार संघ, उदयपुर unveiled its multicolour, multi-utility Calendar-2026 at a special ceremony held in the presence of chief guests — Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena and Udaipur Chamber of Commerce President and former Deputy Mayor Paras Singhvi. The launch took place in the presence of the association’s office-bearers and executive members.
The programme was attended by Association President Suryaprakash Khamesara, General Secretary Jitendra Gupta, Senior Vice-President Kanak Jain, Advisor Hemraj Jain, Treasurer Virendra Chittora, Organisation Secretary Ramsingh Chundawat, Publicity Secretary Yogi Ashok Jain, and Office Secretary Mishrilal Kagrecha, along with all executive members.
During the ceremony, the chief guests extended a traditional Mewari welcome — with turban and shawl — to the calendar publication contributors: Kutubuddin Bohra (Uppkar Masala), Laxmi Lal Jain (Nehru General Store), and Naresh Jain (Variety Tea).
Addressing the gathering, General Secretary Jitendra Gupta apprised MLA Phool Singh Meena of the various challenges currently faced by members of the खुदरा खाद्यपदार्थ व्यापार संघ, उदयपुर and requested his support in seeking time from the Chief Minister to present their issues. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Meena said that the retail trade sector is indeed facing several difficulties and, being a businessman himself, he understands the situation well. He assured the members that if the issues are submitted to him in writing, he would raise them in the Assembly and draw the government’s attention to them.
Udaipur Chamber of Commerce President and former Deputy Mayor Paras Singhvi assured full support of the Chamber in safeguarding the interests of traders and also appealed to the government to address the concerns of retail business owners.
Association President Suryaprakash Khamesara shared details about the activities and initiatives being undertaken for the welfare of traders and called upon members to support efforts to increase the association’s membership base. He informed that the association’s calendar would soon be distributed to every retail grocery shop in Udaipur, where traders eagerly await its arrival each year.
