#### Radha–Krishna Temple, Gaushala, Happy Home & Music Museum to Come Up in Nearby Selu Village

Udaipur: The New Year is set to bring a meaningful and inspiring gift to the City of Lakes. In Selu village of Iswal Gram Panchayat, near Udaipur, a unique and multi-dimensional spiritual–cultural complex will soon take shape on nearly 10 bighas of land. The project, proposed by Moyendra Foundation, envisions the development of a Radha–Krishna Temple, Gaushala, Happy Home, and a Musical Instruments Museum—presented as a rare confluence of service, devotion, compassion, and music.

By the grace of Thakur Ji, Mrs. Ranjana Bhati, wife of Late Shri Mohan Singh Bhati, has generously donated approximately 10 bighas of land to the Moyendra Foundation (proposed name) for this noble initiative. With this, Udaipur’s tourism and cultural map is poised to welcome a new and distinctive landmark.

A New Cultural & Spiritual Landmark for Udaipur

Located close to the city, the Selu campus will be developed as a grand, well-planned and integrated complex, where all four components—temple, gaushala, happy home, and music museum—will coexist in harmony. The project aims to be inspirational, inclusive, and beneficial for people of all ages, while also emerging as a new attraction for visitors.

Mukesh Madhwani, Founder President of Surón Ki Mandali and Managing Director of Moyendra Foundation, described 2026 as a historic beginning for Udaipur. He said that nestled in the Aravallis, this lakeside city is now set to gain a new humanistic and spiritual identity. The proposed complex will stand as a “living confluence of music, meditation, service, and sensitivity,” with each section interlinked to give the entire campus a unified soul.

Architectural Grandeur with Cultural Depth

Renowned architect Sunil Laddha shared that the construction across the 10-bigha area will be aesthetically grand and thoughtfully designed, keeping both spirituality and tourism in mind. He emphasized that building a temple, gaushala, happy home, and music museum within one campus will truly create a new point of attraction for Udaipur.

Highlighting Mewar’s deep-rooted musical heritage, he said the Music Museum will serve as a living testimony to the region’s rich traditions, reconnecting the younger generation with music and reviving fading and forgotten melodic legacies of Mewar.

A Social Treasure for Future Generations

Calling the project an “invaluable social legacy,” professional service leader Pankaj Gehlot said that the Section-8 Trust–based initiative is not merely about construction, but about social upliftment, spiritual awakening, and cultural preservation. The coming together of service, faith, culture, and music at one place will be a matter of pride for the entire region.

Social worker Vijay Saraf added that the project will go far beyond physical infrastructure. It will strengthen human values, spiritual consciousness, and cultural sensitivity, while preserving heritage and nurturing compassion.

Similarly, Chand Kumar Paliwal noted that the initiative is moving steadily toward becoming a unique example of social commitment and cultural awareness. He said this integrated campus will inspire positive thinking and provide a meaningful identity to Udaipur for generations to come.

Heart of the Campus: Radha–Krishna Temple

At the core of the complex will be the Radha–Krishna Temple, envisioned as a center of devotion, spiritual energy, and architectural beauty. Stone carvings, traditional craftsmanship, and artistic pillars will lend the temple a serene and sacred aura.

Key features of the temple include:

Divine idols of Radha–Krishna in the sanctum, adorned daily with different colors and भाव

Daily four-time aartis (Mangla, Shringar, Sandhya, and Shayan) with devotee participation

Weekly bhajans, katha, pravachans, naam-sankirtan, and satsangs

A satsang hall hosting saints and scholars from across the country

Meditation and sadhana rooms offering silence and inner peace

Annakshetra serving satvik prasad daily to hundreds, with special bhandaras and festivals on auspicious occasions

Happy Home: A Family Beyond Walls

The Happy Home will offer a new chapter of life to the needy and elderly—far beyond the concept of a conventional ashram. It will function as a “joyful family space”, especially for those whose families live away or who face loneliness.

Facilities will include:

Comfortable, accessible, and air-conditioned rooms with emergency call systems

24×7 healthcare center with doctor consultation

Physiotherapy, yoga, and wellness units

Music, meditation, and creative workshops

Nutritious, age-appropriate meals in a common dining hall

Library and discussion rooms to encourage interaction and fulfillment

Monthly celebrations and cultural interactions with local children and youth

Gaushala: A Center of Compassion

The Gaushala will shelter and care for abandoned cows as well as indigenous breeds from across the country. More than just a shelter, it will be a laboratory of compassion, teaching responsibility toward animals and nature while promoting humane values.

Music Museum: Living, Learning & Experiencing Sound

The Music Museum will be the artistic soul of the campus—an interactive cultural dialogue center where music is not just heard, but experienced, understood, and lived. It will encourage creativity, composition, and research, keeping India’s musical heritage alive for future generations.

A Vision Rooted in Service & Culture

Members associated with the project believe this initiative will not only add a new dimension to tourism, but also connect citizens deeply with service, spirituality, and sensitivity. Elders, devotees, music lovers, and seekers will all find dignity, peace, and purpose under one roof.

With collective effort and public participation, this dream is set to become a reality—marking a major milestone in Udaipur’s social and cultural journey, and gifting the city a new, inspiring identity.
