Udaipur : Rajsamand MLA **Deepti Kiran Maheshwari** called upon Maheshwari youth to focus on administrative services as well and urged youth organizations to extend all possible support to help talented youngsters move forward.
She was speaking as the **Chief Guest** at the closing ceremony of the **JK Physio & Rehab Makar Sankranti Sports Festival 3.0**, organized under the banner of the **Udaipur Nagar Maheshwari Yuva Organization**, held on Sunday at the RCA Auditorium.
MLA Deepti Maheshwari said that when youth move forward collectively by balancing values with innovation, achieving goals becomes easier. She emphasized that the role of youth is vital in social upliftment, and that many of today’s growing family and social challenges can be addressed through the efforts of young people. She appreciated initiatives such as the **Power Card**, **Manthan**, and **Power Icon Honors for Seniors** undertaken by the Udaipur Nagar Maheshwari Yuva Organization, stating that the organization has emerged as a strong platform for instilling the spirit of social service among youth.
Udaipur Nagar Maheshwari Yuva Organization President **Mayank Moondra** informed that **Paras Singhvi**, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Udaipur Division, attended the ceremony as a **Special Guest** and praised the organization’s initiatives, saying that unity is the true strength of any community. The program was presided over by **Raghav Kothari**, State President of the Southern Rajasthan Regional Maheshwari Yuva Organization, who stated that when youth are organized, society achieves new milestones.
Due to prior commitments, **Chittorgarh MP C. P. Joshi** and **BJP State Vice President Alka Moondra** could not attend the event in person; however, they conveyed their best wishes virtually for the youth-led initiative.
General Secretary **Archit Palod** shared that social workers **Swati–Piyush Devpura, Nirmala–Gopal Kabra, Rajkumari–Kunjbihari Moondra, Mahavir Prasad Chandak, Ashok Kumar Baheti, Jagdish Chandra Toshniwal, Hemant Laddha, Ladooram Moondra, Piyush Moondra, Vishnu Randar, and Vinod Randar** were present as special guests.
Vice President **Mayank Dilip Moondra** informed that this year’s **Maheshwari Power Icon Award** was conferred upon **Mohan Devpura, Satyanarayan Maheshwari, Gopalkrishna Gadiya, Ramnarayan Kothari, Shyamsundar Devpura, Rajesh Rathi, Devendra Maliwal, Poonam Bhadada, and Rahul Maheshwari**.
Treasurer **Sudershan Laddha** explained that in the first phase, badminton and table tennis competitions were held on **December 21** at the Luv-Kush Indoor Stadium. Subsequently, from **January 3–4**, cricket, volleyball, and other competitions were organized at the RCA Ground. In cricket, the **MBA Sitare** team emerged victorious under the guidance of **Kailash Kalani**, while **Dr. Porwal Dental Strikers**, mentored by **Anand Porwal**, secured the runner-up position. In volleyball, **M2M Lions** won the championship, with the **BRB team** finishing as runners-up.
