Udaipur: Preparations are in full swing to make the **Virat Hindu Sammelan**, scheduled to be held on **January 18** in the Badgaon area of Udaipur, a historic and grand event. A crucial meeting of the organizing committee was held in Badgaon on Saturday, during which detailed discussions were conducted on the conference framework, public outreach, cultural activities, logistical arrangements, and security measures. On this occasion, the **conference office was also formally inaugurated**.
Organizing Committee President and former District Education Officer **Om Shankar Shrimali** informed that renowned saint **Uttam Swami**, well-known journalist **Rubika Liyaquat**, and **Ajit Mahapatra**, All India Head of Cow Protection (Gauseva) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will be special participants in the conference.
During the meeting, it was decided to organize a **grand procession and Kalash Yatra**, along with tableaux depicting Hindu cultural symbols and patriotism. To spread awareness at the community level, **collective recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa** are being conducted at every temple in Badgaon. In the coming days, **torch processions and vehicle rallies** will also be organized.
As part of the public awareness campaign, volunteers are distributing **yellow rice and invitation cards** to every household. It has also been decided to hoist **saffron flags** at every home. After the conference, a **community feast** will be organized, where members of society will dine together in the traditional *pangat* (row-seating) style.
Various **sub-committees were formed**, responsibilities were assigned to volunteers, and the organizing office was officially inaugurated to ensure smooth execution of the event.
