Amitabh Bachchan Lauds Philanthropist Dr Aneel Kashi Murarka on KBC
In the latest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (Season 17), philanthropist Dr Aneel Kashi Murarka received an endearing mention from superstar Amitabh Bachchan during the 'Force for Good Heroes' segment for his initiative titled 'Meals from Maa', which focuses on providing nutritious cooked meals and essential food grains to economically disadvantaged communities across India
The 'Meals from Maa' initiative is part of Dr Murarka’s broader commitment to hunger elimination and food security. It delivers ready-to-eat meals to the urban poor and vulnerable groups, while also creating income opportunities by engaging local homemakers in preparing these meals
Dr Murarka is widely recognised for his sustained philanthropic work through his organisation, Ample Missiion , which undertakes a range of community-focused initiatives aimed at long-term social impact. These include free academic coaching and educational support for children from slum and rural backgrounds, healthcare access and employment initiatives for tribal communities, and the creation of sustainable livelihood opportunities for under-represented groups such as transgender individuals and survivors of acid attacks
Alongside these social welfare efforts, Ample Missiion also carries out civic improvement initiatives, including pothole-filling drives, among many other initiatives, addressing everyday infrastructure challenges that directly affect public safety and quality of life. To add to to it, with the able support of the C.B. Murarka Trust, Dr Murarka built the Shivdham Crematorium in Mumbai addressing the need for dignified last rites at a time of immense public distress.
