Three-Day Urs of “Meal Wale Baba” Begins Today

Kota: The three-day Urs of **Hazrat Saiyyed Jamaluddin Shah, popularly known as Meal Wale Baba (Rahmatullah Alaih)**, located in the Kota Station area, will begin today at the dargah परिसर with a simple yet dignified ceremony. The Urs will commence today and continue until **January 15, 2026**.
The occasion will witness the special presence of **Dargah Committee Patron Abdul T**.
Providing detailed information about the Urs, **Dargah Patron Abdul Salam Ansari** and **Dargah Sadar Atiq Khan** stated that the three-day Urs is being organized under the chairmanship of **Sadar Arif Khan**.
They informed that the Urs will begin today with **Quran Khani**, followed by the presentation of the ceremonial flag (*Jhanda*). On this day, a **medical dispensary dedicated to all religions**, constructed within the dargah premises, will also be inaugurated. Thereafter, a **religious discourse (Taqreer)** program will be organized.
On **January 14**, promoting the message of social harmony, an **interfaith marriage ceremony** will be organized. Along with this, **Quran recitation (Qirat)** and **Naat competitions** will also be held, in which participants will showcase their religious and literary talents.
On **January 15**, the Urs will conclude with a grand **Mehfil-e-Jamal**, in which renowned Indian Qawwals **Johzeb Nizami** and **Masood Nizami** will enthrall devotees with their soulful Sufi Qawwalis, providing a deeply spiritual experience.
During the program, along with Committee Patron Abdul Salam, several dignitaries, devotees, and dargah-associated volunteers were present.
