Udaipur.With the objective of creating awareness about increasing traffic pressure, rising road accidents, and the importance of following traffic rules, a Road Safety Awareness Program was successfully organized on Tuesday at Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir, Ambamata, Udaipur. The program was held under the slogan “Road Safety Saves Lives” and “MMVM’s message is clear – Everyone must wear a helmet.”

The event was graced by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri Ashok Aanjna as the Chief Guest. District Transport Officer Shri Mukesh Daad and Mr. Narayan Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer of Aadhar Foundation, attended as Special Guests.
Warm Welcome and Safety Report Presentation
School Principal Shri Yogendra Katare informed that the program began with a warm welcome of the guests through a melodious performance by the school band, followed by floral greetings.

The school’s Road Safety Brand Ambassador, Ms. Mohalakshika Kumari Mewar, presented a detailed report on Bal Vahini safety management and road safety initiatives. She highlighted that the school management regularly inspects and maintains school buses. For student safety, buses are equipped with:
First-aid kits
GPS tracking systems
CCTV cameras
Fire extinguishers
Iron grills on windows
Drinking water facilities
Real-Life Incident Highlighting Importance of Helmet
On this occasion, student Shan Jain shared a real-life incident from an educational tour, where a couple met with an accident. One of them was wearing a helmet while the other was not.
The individual wearing the helmet survived safely, while the one without a helmet suffered serious injuries. The injured person was immediately assisted by the school students and taken to the hospital for treatment. This incident strongly emphasized the life-saving importance of helmets.
Oath on Traffic Safety and Expert Guidance
Following this, Principal Shri Yogendra Katare administered a Traffic Safety Oath to all students, encouraging them to strictly follow traffic rules such as wearing helmets, using seat belts, and avoiding mobile phone usage while driving.
Chief Guest DSP Ashok Aanjna, in his address, explained the critical importance of wearing helmets and adhering to traffic regulations. He expressed pride in the traffic education being imparted at the school and appreciated the students’ awareness and discipline.
Speakers Emphasize Year-Round Road Safety Commitment
District Transport Officer Mukesh Daad, Aadhar Foundation CEO Narayan Chaudhary, Vice Principal Gajendra Sharma, Physical Education Teacher Mahendra Singh Jhala, Kunj Bihari Menaria, and social worker & active road safety member Anil Meghwal also shared their views.
They highlighted that the school has an active Road Safety Club, whose members remain alert throughout the year, ensure compliance with safety norms, and actively promote road safety awareness among students and the community.

As part of the Road Safety Awareness Program, winners of various road safety competitions organized by the school were felicitated:
