Bollywood actor and director Dev Menaria’s much-awaited film “Bihu Attack” is all set for a nationwide release on January 16 across 200 cinema halls. The film is inspired by a historic incident connected to Assam’s iconic Bihu festival, blending the valor of the Indian Army with the rich cultural spirit of Assam.
Shot extensively across the breathtaking landscapes of Kashmir and Assam, Bihu Attack beautifully captures India’s natural diversity while showcasing the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve of its soldiers. The narrative combines intense action with deep-rooted patriotism, making it both thrilling and emotionally stirring.
Speaking to the media in Udaipur, lead actor Dev Menaria expressed pride and emotion as his first major Hindi film releases during the auspicious Bihu festival. The film’s soulful song “Ishq Sufiyana” has already garnered millions of views, while the trailer has heightened anticipation among audiences.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Arbaaz Khan, Daisy Shah, Rahul Dev, Raza Murad, Hiten Tejwani, and Yukti Kapoor, with Dev Menaria portraying a fearless Indian Army officer in the lead role.
In a heartfelt tribute to the armed forces, the makers have announced free screenings for Indian Army personnel on January 16. On the release day, Dev Menaria will watch the film along with his family and people of Mewar at PVR Udaipur.
Former Vallabhnagar MLA Preeti Gajendra Shaktawat lauded Dev’s journey as a matter of pride for Mewar and the nation, calling it an inspiration for the youth. INTUC State President Jagdish Raj Shrimali also extended his best wishes and announced a grand civic felicitation for Dev Menaria in Udaipur after the film’s release.
