####Mahila Samaj Society Celebrates Makar Sankranti at Mahakal for the 25th Consecutive Year
Relief Material Distributed to Needy Children
Udaipur, The Mahila Samaj Society celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti with devotion and enthusiasm at the “Rudraksh of Mahakal” building in the Mahakal temple परिसर. The society has been observing this festival continuously for the past 25 years at the Mahakal temple premises, upholding a strong spirit of social service and compassion.
On this occasion, essential items were distributed to underprivileged children, including til (sesame) laddoos, sitoliya balls, sweaters, clothes, and food supplies. All the materials were generously contributed by the members of Mahila Samaj Society themselves.
During the programme, members also enjoyed the festival in a traditional manner by playing Sitoliya, strengthening mutual bonding and social harmony. Prominent members present included Shakuntala Ghosh, Neela Karanpuriya, Reena Mahajan, Sushma Goyal, Sharda Talesara, Shweta Talesara, Nalini Pal, Nirmala Sehlot, Meenu Kumbhat, Girja Mehta, Sushila Mehta, along with several other members.
At the conclusion of the event, Maya Kumbhat expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members for their participation and cooperation. The programme ended with members exchanging warm greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.
