####SPSU: PhD Orientation Batch 2025-26
Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, successfully organized PhD Orientation for the batch 2025-26 on Jan 12, 2026 to welcome newly admitted research scholars. The orientation witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than 38 research scholars from diverse regions across India, along with international scholars, nurturing a vibrant, inclusive research-oriented environment and a platform for cross-cultural academic interaction and scholarly exchange. Prof. (Dr.) Ram Misra, Area Professor Montclair State University, USA, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav in his welcome address emphasised on SPSU’s strong research culture rooted in academic integrity, innovation, and societal relevance. Prof. Ram Misra shared his extensive experience in operations and technology management, inspiring scholars to pursue high-quality and impactful research and threw light on the importance of the prompt engineering and Generative AI.
Additionally, Prof. Misra also delivered an expert lecture on “Role of AI in Creating Immersive, Interactive Educational Worlds,” accentuating the significance of Generative AI and prompt engineering in contemporary research and education. He stressed on how Artificial Intelligence is redefining education by enabling personalized, adaptive, and learner-centric environments that go beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Prof. Prasun Chakrabarti, Pro President, highlighted the university’s strong emphasis on research excellence, innovation, global collaborations, and National and International Academic Linkages. The sessions were well coordinated by Dr. Neeti Mathur, Dr. Manish Tiwari and Er. Anil Kumar.
