District Collector Namit Mehta Felicitates National Dragon Boat Medal Winners
Udaipur:District Collector Namit Mehta met and congratulated the players who delivered an outstanding performance at the 14th National Dragon Boat Championship held in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), where they secured gold and silver medals in two different events. He extended his best wishes to the athletes and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence and a bright future in sports.
Addressing the players, Collector Mehta said that their achievement is a matter of pride not only for Udaipur but for the entire state of Rajasthan. He assured full administrative support and the provision of necessary and modern sports facilities to help the athletes further improve their performance and bring laurels to the state at national and international levels.
The felicitation programme was attended by Rajasthan Kayaking and Canoeing Association Chairman Piyush Kachhwaha, social worker Tushar Mehta, team coach Tanishk Patwa, and members of the Rajasthan team. The players present included Kanishka Kumawat, Shagun Kumawat, Manasvi Sukhwal, Naisa Paneri, Charvi Kumawat, Kavya Saini, Pranvi Kumawat, Tejasvi Joshi, along with Devendra Singh, Kulvardhan Singh Shaktawat, Parth Singh Chundawat, Saksham Kumawat, Anant Singhvi, Manas Sukhwal, and Parth Kumawat.
Expressing their gratitude, the players thanked the District Collector for his encouragement, stating that the support from the administration has boosted their confidence and motivated them to work even harder to achieve greater success in the future.
