###Teaser of Mahi Talk Fest 4.0 Released

Banswara |The teaser of Mahi Talk Fest 4.0 was released on Thursday at Dr. Nagendra Singh Law College, Banswara. The festival is being jointly organized by Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU) and Vishva Samvad Kendra, Udaipur.

The teaser launch ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahipal Singh Rao, Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Sansthan, Dr. Vikram Singh, Principal of Dr. Nagendra Singh Law College, social media influencer Ritik Rathore, Dikshit Garg, and several other distinguished guests. Members of the Mahi Talk Fest team, including Prof. Rajshree Chaudhary, Vikas Chhajed, Kanan Rathore, Dakshesh, Rohit Vyas, Mamraj, and Randhir Vyas, actively participated in the programme.

Books Are the Foundation of Nation-Building: Dr. Mahipal Singh Rao

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mahipal Singh Rao said that reading books forms the foundation of holistic national development. He emphasized that a true understanding of the country’s glorious history, rich culture, and art is developed through books. He described Mahi Talk Fest 4.0 as a meaningful initiative that promotes reading habits, dialogue, and intellectual awareness among youth, and extended his best wishes for the success of the festival.

Outreach Campaign in Colleges and Hostels

As part of the promotional activities, the Mahi Talk Fest team conducted an outreach campaign at Aravali College, Government Girls College, University Engineering College, and various student hostels across the city. During these visits, students were informed about the objectives, format, and key activities of the festival.

The team informed students that Mahi Talk Fest 4.0 will be held from January 23 to 25, 2026, at the Shri Govind Guru Tribal University campus, Banswara, and encouraged them to actively participate in the festival activities. On-the-spot registrations were also facilitated.

Preparations Underway

University Research Director and core team member Prof. Narendra Paneri said that extensive preparations are underway to ensure the successful organization of Mahi Talk Fest 4.0. He added that outreach programmes are being conducted to ensure maximum participation of youth and wider public engagement.

NBT Book Fair to Be a Major Attraction

Festival Convener and Additional Director General (Publicity), Police Headquarters, Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, informed that the festival will feature exhibitions on diverse themes, literary discussion sessions, cultural performances, and competitions. A major highlight of the festival will be a three-day National Book Trust (NBT) Book Fair, being organized for the first time in Banswara. Books from NBT and other renowned publishers across the country will be available for purchase by the general public.

In addition, special exhibitions will be organized on the Indian Constitution, tribal heroes, and the tragedy of the Partition of India. Literary sessions will include discussions on topics such as the concept of unity in folk literature, the relationship between All India Radio and literature, 150 years of “Anand Math – Vande Mataram”, and the centenary of national service.

Cultural programmes will include a musical story on the life of Adi Shankaracharya, theatrical presentation on Rani Abbakka, Gavari Sadhana performance, and Mallakhamb demonstrations, which are expected to be major attractions.

To encourage youth participation, competitions such as a reels-making contest (on civic sense), storytelling competition (on the spiritual tradition of Vagad), and a drawing competition will also be organized.
