District Collector Inspects Proposed Waste Disposal Plant Site
Sri Ganganagar | District Collector Dr. Manju on Thursday inspected the site of the proposed waste disposal plant at Netewala. During the visit, she reviewed the progress of the project and held discussions with Municipal Council officials, issuing necessary directions for its effective implementation.
In the morning, the District Collector inspected the proposed waste disposal plant site at Netewala and sought detailed information from Municipal Council officials regarding the developments made so far. She also inspected the proposed waste disposal plant at Zone 14-Z and the operational waste disposal plant at Zone 6-Z.
During the inspection of the functioning plant at Zone 6-Z, Dr. Manju directed the Municipal Council officials to ensure proper and systematic disposal of waste received at the site. She emphasized that all actions should be taken strictly in accordance with departmental norms, ensuring that no inconvenience is caused to the general public.
She further instructed that the transportation and disposal of waste collected from various parts of the city through vehicles should be managed efficiently so that residents do not face any difficulty.
Additional District Magistrate Subhash Kumar, Executive Engineer Mangat Setia, and other officials were present during the inspection.
