The special camp was conducted over three days to ensure maximum participation. During this period, 280 drivers underwent eye examinations using modern diagnostic equipment. Following the screenings, 110 drivers were provided spectacles on the spot, while 18 drivers received spectacles via courier based on their specific prescriptions.

The primary objective of this initiative is to improve drivers’ vision, as clear eyesight is a fundamental requirement for road safety. Better vision not only ensures the safety of drivers but also protects the lives of other road users.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Alok Ranjan, Location Head – Chanderia Smelting Complex; Dinesh Prajapat, Logistics Head; Anjali Rathore, Logistics Team Member; and Balchand Patidar, Safety Head, by the Safety and Logistics teams. Unnati NGO provided significant technical and on-ground support for the successful execution of the camp.

The Chanderia Smelting Complex Logistics Team remains committed to continuing such initiatives in the future, working steadily towards the goal of zero accidents.
