North Western Railway Honors Officer Manish Padmawat for Outstanding Service
Sri Ganganagar: The **70th Distinguished Railway Service Award Ceremony–2025** was organized by **North Western Railway** on Friday in **Jaipur**. The Chief Guest of the ceremony, **Shri Amitabh, General Manager of North Western Railway**, honored **54 railway employees** with individual awards for their outstanding performance and dedicated service.
On this occasion, **Shri Manish Padmawat**, former **Senior Divisional Engineer** of the **Bikaner Railway Division**, was also honored for his exemplary work.
During his tenure in Bikaner, Shri Padmawat executed several significant construction projects with excellence. Under his supervision, development works at many railway stations gained momentum as part of the **Amrit Bharat Railway Station Project**. The entire process of **land acquisition, construction, and shifting of the Banwali Goods Shed** was successfully completed under his leadership. In addition, several **RUB/ROB (Road Under Bridges/Road Over Bridges)** and **track construction projects** were carried out efficiently during his tenure. Shri Padmawat is currently posted as **Deputy Chief Engineer** at the **North Western Railway Headquarters**.
Along with Manish Padmawat, other officials and staff from the **Bikaner Division** who were honored included **Senior Section Engineer Shri Mahesh Chand Meena**, **Section Engineer (Works) Shri Randhir Kumar**, **Senior Section Engineer (Mechanical) Shri Manoj Kumar Tawania**, **Track Maintainer (Bhiwani) Satyawan**, **Senior Assistant Loco Pilot Ambika Dubey**, and **Ravindra Jangid from the Crew Controller Office (Bhiwani)**.
It is noteworthy that all these officers and employees were recognized for their **exceptional performance in their respective fields**, **high standards of service**, **strict adherence to safety norms**, and their significant contribution toward providing **better facilities to railway passengers**.
