Various Programmes to Mark the Birth Centenary of Spiritual Luminary Ajatshatru Pannalal Nagar

Banswara: To commemorate the birth centenary year of the late Pannalal Nagar, a renowned thinker of religion and spirituality, pride of the Vagad region, and the first Chartered Accountant of Banswara district, a series of year-long programmes will be organized by Gauridevi Parmarth Trust, Banswara. Shri Nagar dedicated several decades of his life to the protection of Sanatan Dharma and the preservation of its traditions.

This information was shared on Sunday during a meeting of the Gauridevi Parmarth Trust held at Shri Pitambara Ashram. On this occasion, Prof. I. V. Trivedi—President of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir and former Vice-Chancellor of Sukhadia University, Udaipur, and Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara—released the poster for the birth centenary celebrations.

### Year-long Series of Events Planned

Trust President Madhusudan Nagar informed that late Pannalal Nagar, who served for many years as the District President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, devoted his life to religious, social, and spiritual awakening in Banswara district through hundreds of large-scale and constructive initiatives via the Bhagwat Committee and more than two dozen organizations. In his memory, the birth centenary year of Pannalal Nagar (1926–2026) will be celebrated with the participation of various institutions.

It was shared in the meeting that several important activities are planned throughout the year as part of the centenary celebrations. These include a wide range of religious and spiritual observances and creative programmes. Major events will include Akhand Ramcharitmanas, Bhagwat Katha, Chandi Path, a week-long Shiv Purana Katha delivered by renowned narrator Ambikanand Giri Maharaj, Rudrarchan Mahayagya at Sarveshwar Mahadev Temple in Parsoliya, Pradosh Mahotsav, and other religious ceremonies at Shri Keshavashram Guru Maharaj Temple.

### Inspiring the Younger Generation

Addressing the gathering, former Vice-Chancellor Prof. I. V. Trivedi stated that the Vagad region has been a land of great personalities across various spheres of social life. There is a need for well-planned, mission-driven efforts to introduce the younger generation to such eminent figures. This will inspire youth and support personality development through the ideals of *Karmayoga*.

### A Welcome Initiative

Eminent Sanskrit scholar Dr. Rakesh Shastri, author of 146 books on Sanskrit and Founder Secretary of the Sanskritotthan Samiti, termed the initiative highly commendable and said that it is the need of the present time. He emphasized that social groups and institutions should come forward to support such efforts.

### Gayatri Mandal to Organize Multiple Events

Representatives of the Gayatri Mandal expressed their views and assured active participation in the centenary celebrations. They stated that since late Pannalal Nagar was among the leading founders of the Gayatri Mandal, lectures and seminars on astrology, religion, spirituality, and ancient knowledge systems will be organized throughout the year at Shri Pitambara Ashram. Scholars from different parts of the country will deliver lectures, and conferences, felicitation, and scholar-honoring programmes will also be held.

### Wide Participation at Poster Release Ceremony

The poster release ceremony was attended by Nagendra Nagar (President) and Jayprakash Yagyik (Secretary) of Dhaneshwar Pradosh Mandal; Suresh Pandya, President of Deenbandhu Chetna Samiti; CA Anjani Trivedi; Shekhar Pandya; Hemant Dave; Ravindra Jha; Sunil Trivedi; Ravindra Trivedi; Dilip Jha; Mitthanlal Dave; Baldev Dave; Nikhil Dave; Kevalkrishna Nagar; Naveen Pandya; Dilip Pandya; Dinendra Dave; Devang Nagar; Pawan Dave; Hemendra Trivedi; Devkinandan Jha; Jayant Nagar; Hemang Nagar; Deepak Jha, and many others.

### Active Participation of Women Assured

Women representatives including Pushpa Vyas, Pooja Joshi, Rekha Pandya, Jaya Nagar, Sangeeta Jha, Bhargavi Nagar, Praveena Trivedi, Nidhi Nagar, Deepika Pandya, Ranjana Nagar, Jagruti Nagar, Hima Jha, Chetna Dave, Alpana Nagar, Chetna Nagar, Deepali Dave, and Rekha Yagyik pledged full participation of women in all events planned during the birth centenary year celebrations.
