####Bal Sahityodaya: Message to Children to Stay Away from Mobile Phones and Engage in Children’s Literature

Kota. Under the joint aegis of Sanskriti Sahitya Media Forum and New Kids World School, Vigyan Nagar, a Bal Sahityodaya programme was organized on Saturday at the school campus. During the programme, literary figures conveyed the message of connecting children with literature and encouraging them to read and write instead of excessive mobile phone usage.

Children presented Surya Vandana, recited self-composed poems, and showcased cultural performances, which were highly appreciated by the audience. Winners of various literary competitions were honoured with prizes.

The Chief Guest, Jitendra Nirmohi, and the Programme President, Rameshwar Sharma “Ramu Bhaiya,” motivated children to stay away from mobile phones and develop the habit of reading and writing children’s poetry and storybooks. They shared that under the Mission Bal Man Tak, significant work has been done in the Hadoti region by connecting more than 36,000 children with literature.

School Director R. K. Sharma welcomed the guests and described such initiatives as a positive step towards the intellectual, emotional, and cultural development of future generations.

On behalf of the Media Forum, literary contributors Shyama Sharma, Mahesh Pancholi, Pallavi Darak Nyati, Yogiraj Yogi, and Shama Firoz were honoured with certificates of appreciation and mementos for their contributions to children’s literature and literary activities. Special guest Dr. Krishna Kumari presented a poetry recitation. The writers also donated their children’s literature books to the school library.

Forum Convener Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal informed that children’s creative writing training camps will be organized this year to enhance literary creativity among children. He also announced the expansion of the forum by enrolling writers associated with children’s literature activities as members.

The programme began with the lighting of a lamp before the image of Goddess Saraswati. The event was guided by Principal Palak Vijayvargiya, while coordination and anchoring were done by Nidhi Sharma. Historian Firoz Ahmed and over 200 children were present at the programme.
