###Ravi Khamesra’s Mortal Remains Donated to RNT Medical College
Udaipur: Following the demise of renowned stamp collector and Ambavgarh resident Ravi Khamesra yesterday, his family fulfilled his last wish by donating his mortal remains to RNT Medical College, Udaipur, today, paying him a true tribute.
Gautam Sukhlecha, Secretary of Lachhiram Hanjabai Sukhlecha Charitable Trust, informed that Khamesra’s body was brought to RNT Medical College in a Moksh Rath as part of an emotional body donation procession. In the presence of hundreds of community members and family members, the body donation process was formally completed in the Anatomy Department.
Ravi Khamesra was known as a friendly, simple, and humble personality. He made significant contributions in religious, social, and educational fields. He was also widely recognized as an award-winning stamp collector, having earned recognition in the Guinness Book of Records. He is survived by his wife Pushpa Khamesra, son Prashant Khimesra, and other family members. More than 200 community members participated in this noble act.
On this occasion, Rajkumar Chelawat, Ashok Lodha, Shailendra Khamesra, Gautam Sukhlecha, along with members of the Khimesra and Chelawat families, played a significant role in the successful completion of the donation.
On behalf of RNT Medical College, Dr. Shweta Asthana, Dr. Sunil Sharma, and Dr. Sushant expressed their gratitude to the Khimesra family for this great act of body donation, praising it as extremely valuable for medical education.
According to the RNT Medical College administration, this is the third voluntary body donation of the current year. Earlier this year, Ashulal Verdia and Sandhya Nahar had also donated their bodies.
It is noteworthy that the Sukhlecha Charitable Trust has so far facilitated more than 380 body donation pledge forms in Udaipur and successfully completed nearly 50 body donations at RNT Medical College. The trust is also continuously engaged in social initiatives such as blood donation and organ donation.
