Udaipur Finishes as Runners-Up in Inter-District Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament
Udaipur: The **4th Rajasthan State Inter-District Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament**, organized under the aegis of the **Kota District Administration**, was held from **January 17 to 19, 2026**. The **Udaipur district team** delivered an impressive performance and secured the **runners-up position** in the tournament.
In the league matches, Udaipur dominated the competition by defeating **Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Baran, Dausa, and Barmer** in one-sided encounters, finishing at the top of their group. The team advanced to the semifinals after defeating **Jhunjhunu** in the quarterfinals. In the semifinal match, Udaipur outplayed **Pali** with a convincing **3–0 victory**, earning a place in the final.
In the final match, **Bhilwara** emerged victorious against Udaipur to clinch the championship title.
**Ravindra Singh Shekhawat and Laxman Singh Chauhan** delivered notable performances during the tournament, while **Sanjay Sharma, Devendra Singh, Nagendra Singh, Om Prakash Chaudhary, and Chandrapal Singh** also provided strong support to the team.
On this achievement, **Udaipur District Administration** extended congratulations to the team through **Manager Gajendra Singh** and **Team Manager Surendra Singh**, appreciating the commendable effort and performance of the players.
