####She Circle India Honours Journalists with Satya Kalam Awards in Udaipur
Udaipur: In a dignified ceremony aimed at upholding the values of truth, courage and social responsibility in journalism, She Circle India (SCI) honoured prominent journalists of Udaipur with the Satya Kalam Awards on Monday evening. The prestigious event was held at Hotel Sitara Grand, Nakoda Puram, and witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from various fields.
The ceremony was graced by Nivritti Kumari Mewar, former member of the Mewar royal family, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, she encouraged journalists to continue raising the voice of the common people with greater strength and responsibility, emphasizing the vital role of the media in a democratic society.
Founder of She Circle India, Tarika Bhanupratap, stated that the Satya Kalam Award is dedicated to journalists who practice fearless, unbiased journalism and actively work towards social awareness through their writing and reporting. She described the initiative as a meaningful step towards strengthening the core values of journalism.
A total of 47 journalists from the city were honoured for their outstanding contributions to the field. The awardees included Anand Sharma, Anshuman, Avinash Jaganawat, Bhagwan Prajapat, Bhupendra Chaubisa, Chandraprakash Gandharv, Dhirendra Joshi, Durgesh Verma, Gaurikant Sharma, Hemendra Shrimali, Kapil Paliwal, Kailash Sankhla, Kamal Vasita, Kapil Shrimali, Kinjal Tiwari, Kuldeep Gehlot, Laxman Goran, Lucky Jain, Manu Rao, Nisha Rathore, Omprakash Purbia, Prakash Meghwal, Prakash Sharma, Pramod Gaud, Pramod Soni, Pushpendra Singh, Rafiq Pathan, Rakesh Sharma Rajdeep, Rajesh Verma, Rajni Kaur, Rajni Sharma, Ravi Malhotra, Ravi Sharma, RJ Arpit, RJ Kavya, Sanjay Khabya, Sanjeet Chauhan, Subhash Sharma, Sudha Kawadia, Sunil Pandit, RJ Suri, Varun Surana, Sharad Lodha, Vijay Kumawat, Viplav Kumar Jain, Yogesh Nagda, Yunus Khan and Zaheer Abbas.
Several distinguished guests attended the event, including educationist Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, Rotarian Deepak Sukhadia, Dr. Sweety Chhabra, senior journalist Rajesh Kasera, mental counsellor Dr. Anju Giri, and members of She Circle India such as Dr. Sonu Jain, Rukhsana Sabunwala and Shikha Behl, among others.
The evening was further enriched by captivating dance and musical performances presented by Creations Group and Shruti School of Music, which enthralled the audience. The programme was smoothly conducted by RJ Yug and Shalini Bhatnagar.
