Jain Jagriti Center Women’s Wing Celebrates Basant Panchami with Joy and Tradition

Udaipur:The Women’s Wing of Jain Jagriti Center celebrated the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami with great enthusiasm and devotional fervour at the Karni Mata Temple परिसर. The event beautifully reflected the essence of spring—joy, renewal, and vibrant energy—infused with the warmth and unity of women members.

As per the festival’s theme, all members attended the celebration dressed in yellow attire, symbolising prosperity, knowledge, and the arrival of spring. Adding to the festive charm, each participant was welcomed with a garland of yellow marigold flowers, turning the entire venue into a radiant display of basanti hues.

Guardian Pinky Mandawat shared that the programme highlighted the religious, cultural, and natural significance of Basant Panchami, making it both meaningful and celebratory. For entertainment, a specially designed theme-based Housie game was organised, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the participants.

Staying true to tradition, the culinary arrangements featured special yellow delicacies, adding flavour and colour to the festivities.

Graceful Presence and Smooth Conduct

The event witnessed the dignified presence of President Kusum Bhansali, along with Sushila Mehta, Meena Sisodia, Kusum Jain, and nearly 60 women members, who together made the celebration lively and memorable.

The programme was efficiently conducted by Rekha Harppawat and Vandana Jain, while General Secretary Beena Maru concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all members for their active participation.

The celebration stood as a beautiful example of cultural harmony, sisterhood, and the joyful spirit of Basant Panchami.
