Rampura Agucha Mines Team Wins Inter Zinc Season 4 Championship
Zinc Nagar.In the ongoing Inter Zinc Cricket Championship (Season 4) being held at Zinc Nagar, the Rampura Agucha Mines team emerged as champions by registering a convincing victory in the final match.
The final, played under floodlights on Friday, saw Rampura Agucha Mines face HO CRDL. After winning the toss, the HO CRDL team opted to bat first and were bowled out for 124 runs with three balls remaining in the allotted 20 overs, losing all 10 wickets.
In reply, the Rampura Agucha Mines team chased down the target of 125 runs in just 14.5 overs, losing only two wickets, to clinch the championship title.
Rakesh was declared Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance, claiming 4 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs.
Manish Sen was awarded Best Batsman, Rakesh was named Best Bowler of the Tournament, while Prashant Devanda received the Best All-Rounder of the Tournament award.
On the occasion, Alok Ranjan, Location Head of the Chanderiya Smelting Complex, attended as the Chief Guest. Congratulating the Chanderiya team for the successful organization of the event, he encouraged all participating teams and emphasized that such tournaments play a vital role in strengthening team spirit and mutual coordination. He also appreciated the sporting spirit displayed by both finalist teams.
The event was attended by Ranjit Singh Bhati, President of the Metal Mines Mazdoor Sangh; Anup Kumar, Head HR; Mamta Sharma, Deputy CHRO; and members of the organizing team including Inderjit Singh, Vijay Rao, Dilip Singh, Naveen Intodia, Urmi Deepa, along with players and a large number of spectators.
