####MLA Phool Singh Meena Lays Foundation Stone for Three Anicuts Worth ₹8 Crore
Projects approved under Chief Minister’s Budget Announcement 2025–26
Under the Chief Minister’s Budget Announcement 2025–26, foundation stones for three anicuts were laid on Saturday by Udaipur Rural MLA Shri Phool Singh Meena in Gram Panchayats Khubdi and Jawla. The three anicuts, to be constructed at a total cost of approximately ₹8 crore, were sanctioned due to the sustained efforts of MLA Phool Singh Meena.
Addressing the gathering during the foundation stone laying ceremony, Shri Meena said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is undertaking unprecedented initiatives in the field of water conservation. He stated that the construction of these anicuts will lead to a significant rise in the groundwater level, providing a long-term solution to drinking water issues faced by the region and ensuring improved irrigation facilities for farmers.
The MLA emphasized that the project would give fresh momentum to the economic and social development of rural areas. He informed that the anicuts will be constructed by the Water Resources Department at Wada Fala and Hama Fala in Gram Panchayat Khubdi, and Upla Fala in Gram Panchayat Jawla.
Superintending Engineer of the Water Resources Department, Manoj Kumar Jain, stated that along with the construction of anicuts, ghats will also be developed to facilitate the convenience of local residents.
The programme was attended by former Pradhan Takht Singh Shaktawat, social workers Rameshchandra Damor and Mohanlal Meena, local Sarpanches Sushila Meena and Shanta Meena, Rameshchandra Meena, officials and staff of the Water Resources Department, and a large number of villagers.
