####Various Activities Organised on Universal Renaissance Day in Udaipur

Udaipur, On the occasion of Universal Renaissance (Renaissance Universal) Day, the Renaissance Universal (R.U.) Club, Udaipur, organised a series of meaningful activities on Sunday to mark the foundation of the global ideological movement.

R.U. Club President Dr. S. K. Verma informed that the movement was founded on January 25, 1958, at Trimuhan, Bhagalpur (Bihar) by renowned thinker, philosopher, and proponent of Neohumanism, Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, who delivered his seminal address on “The Problems of Today” on this platform.

As part of the celebrations, a free medical camp was organised in the morning at Jagriti, Tekri–Madri Road, for patients suffering from diabetes, heart ailments, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and other lifestyle diseases. Free medical check-ups, consultations, and medicines were provided to beneficiaries.

Later in the day, a discussion session was held on the objectives of the Universal Renaissance movement. The programme began with floral tribute and lamp lighting before the portrait of Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Verma described R.U. Club as a global movement dedicated to moral and ethical rejuvenation, spiritual awakening, cultural renaissance, promotion of universal humanism, and continuous struggle against exploitation and stagnation in society.

In the afternoon, a one-hour continuous chanting of the sacred eight-syllable mantra “Baba Nam Kevalam” was organised, during which participants collectively created a spiritually charged atmosphere, emphasizing inner transformation and positive consciousness.

The celebrations reflected the spirit of service, spirituality, and universal human values envisioned by Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar.
