DPS Udaipur Celebrates Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour
Delhi Public School, Udaipur celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great dignity, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of national pride. The entire campus resonated with the spirit of patriotism as it was beautifully adorned in the colours of the Indian tricolour, creating an inspiring and vibrant atmosphere.
The ceremony was graced by the Pro Vice Chairman, Mr. Govind Agrawal, as the Chief Guest. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, filling the air with reverence and unity.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Arpuva Agrawal, Member of the School Management Committee, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution, the importance of civic duties, and the vital role students play in nation-building. She emphasized that Republic Day reminds every citizen to uphold the principles of equality, liberty, and justice, and encouraged students to adopt discipline, integrity, and service to the nation as guiding principles in life.
Chief Guest Mr. Govind Agrawal, in his address, remarked that schools are not merely centers of academic excellence but also nurturing grounds for values, ethics, and patriotism. He applauded the efforts of the school in shaping responsible and conscientious citizens. Vice Principal Mr. Rajesh Dhabhai also shared his thoughts, paying tribute to the architects of the Constitution and urging the youth to actively contribute to the progress and unity of the nation.
The celebration featured a captivating series of cultural performances, including patriotic songs, group singing, and thought-provoking speeches by students. The collective singing of “Vande Mataram” proved to be the emotional highlight of the event, leaving the audience deeply moved and filled with national pride.
The programme concluded on a high note, reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds who are not only academically sound but also deeply rooted in the ideals of the Indian Republic.
