MMVM Celebrates Republic Day on the Theme of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”
Udaipur:Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm on the theme of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India).
On this occasion, a variety of patriotic programmes including songs, dances, and poetry recitations were presented. The Chief Guest, Commander Shakeel Ahmed, Commanding Officer of 1 Raj Naval Unit NCC, Udaipur, paid tribute to the National Flag.
The programme began with a welcome address by Principal Mrs. Pratima Sharma. Students presented the patriotic song “Mera Mulk Mera Desh” accompanied by musical instruments. Students also showcased patriotic songs, poetry recitations, and speeches highlighting the spirit of the nation. An engaging one-act play based on the theme of Atmanirbhar Bharat was also performed by the students.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of nurturing a strong sense of patriotism among students. The ceremony concluded with the singing of “Vande Mataram.” Prior to the programme, the guests were welcomed with melodious tunes performed by the school band.
The celebration instilled pride, patriotism, and awareness of self-reliance among the students.
