Railway GM Inaugurates Arogyam Café After Flag Hoisting

Jaipur, The 77th Republic Day celebrations on the North Western Railway were held on Monday with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of national pride. On this occasion, the General Manager of North Western Railway, Amitabh, unfurled the national flag and took the salute.

According to the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, Shashi Kiran, after the National Anthem, the General Manager inspected the parade of the Railway Protection Force as well as the Scouts and Guides, and read out a message addressed to railway employees. In the message, Amitabh highlighted the achievements and work accomplished by North Western Railway during the year and congratulated railway staff for their outstanding performance. Balloons symbolising unity were also released during the ceremony.

Cultural programmes were presented by artists of North Western Railway. The Railway Protection Force showcased a dog show, silent drill, and bike show. On the occasion, the awards approved by the General Manager for the successful organisation of the ceremony were also announced.

Artists from all four divisions of North Western Railway and the headquarters presented impressive patriotic cultural performances during the programme.

The ceremony was attended by Additional General Manager Ashok Maheshwari, departmental heads, officers, employees, representatives of recognised unions, and office-bearers of the Women’s Welfare Organisation.

After the main programme, General Manager Amitabh inaugurated the “Arogyam Café” and the newly constructed Chief Medical Superintendent’s Office at the North Western Railway Central Hospital, Jaipur. The event was attended by Dr Anju, President of the North Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, Jaipur Divisional Railway Manager Ravi Jain, Chief Medical Director Dr Krishna Kumar, Medical Director Dr Vasudevan, and Chief Medical Superintendent Dr Sanjay Kumar Saha.

Arogyam Café is a modern food and beverage centre aimed at maintaining a balance between health and taste. In addition, a blood donation camp was organised at the Aravali Club in Ganpati Nagar with the support of Eternal Hospital.
