###Modelling the World's Unification: What India can Contribute

Earth – A minute portion of the endless universe where nature was once composed has long changed into a world controlled by human powers. Desire of gaining power is a long term process that has transformed Earth and thereafter, this human-controlled world. Here, 'human-controlled' is said on the notes of the realities of human activities that are observed stages after stages on the trail of time span. World powers have emerged, expanded, ruled and then replaced with another wave of stronger powers. We can see the changes in the control policies, progresses and losses that resulted in the world's transformation. Be it the rise and fall of Egypt, Rome or Islamic nations, be it the long phase of servitude of India or the fragmentation of Western states – All these are decisive changes that had all resulted as outcomes of human acts.

The world now is divided, separated and restructuring fast to win the race of supremacy. That race is altering not only the human moralities or sentiments, they are reformatting the environment and even spreading its wings to extend to the vast endless universe. Power battles are commencing and nations are packing together to strengthen their wealth, ethnic image and defence machinery. Participation in the world decision-making is standardized based on monetary and military potency. Today's world, segmented in developed, developing and underdeveloped nations all are being pulled or thrown aside on these terms.

Where is India now? World news states this nation as a competing emerging economy, ambitious participant of globalization and a noteworthy partner of trade, human resource and knowledge share. Do we notice that India's own potency can present a remarkable global unification model of humanity? Sustenance, harmony and multi-ethnic bonding are discussed on world platforms, but how far they are actually achieved remains unsaid or sidelined. India's public mindset is much guided towards its originating Vedic fundamentals. However, it is undeniable that the country is a basket of varied cultures and that too is reshaping, inter-aligning, merging and mixing. The country that bears the legacy of adapting unknown concepts and ideas is still moving ahead on this perception, although much unnoticed.

Bonding between differing communities, their open acceptance and pride in retaining the nation's heritage can be observed in several occasions. Recently, on the festivity of Vasant Panchami, for instance, I found so wonderful cross-cultural unison that the mass celebrated. Following the legend of Amir Khusro, the festivity of Vasant Panchami at Delhi's Hasrat Nizamuddin Durgah is a unique example in itself where the unification multi-ethnic mass culture is wholeheartedly celebrated. There are many other such examples present in this country that exemplify the spirit of cross-cultural bonding. Isn't that an image that India can display to the world? Can't the power of this unification serve for world sustenance, peacekeeping and revival of ecological balance?

Beyond the hyped issues of brutality and segmentation, India's harmony is a strong aspect too that exists and can establish the nation as a land of diverse integrity.
