Udaipur: A new chapter is set to begin in Rajasthan’s industrial, commercial, and investment landscape. With the objective of taking the state to new heights of industrial development, the **second three-day edition of the Rajasthan Industrial Trade Expo (RITEX)** is being organized jointly by the **PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry** and **Evension** from **March 20** at the **B.N. College Ground**.
**Mukesh Madhavani**, Convener of PHDCCI Udaipur and Founder of BCI, informed that a **preparatory meeting** regarding **RITEX 2026** was held today at the **KCCI building**. The meeting focused on ensuring maximum participation of traders in the expo so that, along with the business community, the general public is also well informed about the event. Through this three-day expo, there is a strong possibility of generating **direct and indirect business opportunities worth over ₹1,000 crore**, which will provide new momentum to the economy of **Udaipur, the Mewar region, and Rajasthan as a whole**. Exhibitors from various states such as **Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana** will participate in the exhibition.
The meeting was attended by leading entrepreneurs of the city and representatives of industrial organizations, where detailed discussions were held on the **roadmap of the three-day expo and its economic impact**. **KCCI President Girish Sharma**, former President **Rajendra Surana**, and **PHD Chamber of Commerce representative Mukesh Madhavani** shared their views prominently.
Senior Executive Member of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Udaipur Division Coordinator **Mukesh Madhavani** stated that during the discussion, key members of the RITEX team highlighted the structure of this mega event. **Vinod Sen** shared details regarding the planning and management of the event, while **Chetan Mishra** informed that renowned national-level participants have been invited to this edition of the expo. **Jai Audichya** provided technical information about the physical layout and structural framework of the event.
Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including senior KCCI members **Keshu Lal Dangi, Ghanshyam Sharma, Manish Kalika, Himanshu Dangi, Rajendra Jain, Vardhman Doshi, and Pankaj Jain**, along with many other prominent entrepreneurs.
Emphasizing the economic importance of the expo, **Mukesh Madhavani** said that Rajasthan is now ready to touch new heights of industrial growth. He stated that this expo will not be limited to a product exhibition alone, but will serve as a **powerful platform for industry, trade, investment, and policy coordination**, offering new directions to innovation. Entry to the exhibition will be **completely free** for both the general public and the business community.
He further added that this three-day expo is expected to bring a **new economic revolution** to Udaipur and the Mewar region, with an estimated **₹1,000 crore or more in direct and indirect business opportunities**. Rajasthan currently leads the country in sectors such as **automobiles, textiles, mining, engineering, renewable energy, and handicrafts**. Due to the state government’s investor-friendly policies and improved connectivity, this expo is set to become a major attraction for investors. Its primary objective is to provide **Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)** with a large platform and to showcase the state’s industrial potential at the international level, thereby opening new avenues for future investment.
Information about participating exhibitors was shared by **Chetan Mishra**, while **Jai Audichya** elaborated on the overall structure of the event. The meeting was conducted by **Nitin Motwani**.
