Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed happiness over the record 38 lakh tourists visiting Jodhpur in 2025. He said this is a testament to Jodhpur's new identity as a 'Complete Tourist Destination' on the global stage. The Chief Minister stated that this achievement is a result of the 'Development and Heritage' vision of the Double Engine Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He added that with integrated efforts from the Central and State Governments, Jodhpur has developed as an international tourist destination with improved infrastructure, heritage conservation, connectivity, cleanliness, safety, and tourist facilities. Sharma highlighted that Jodhpur's rich cultural heritage, historical monuments, folk art, and traditional handicrafts continue to attract tourists, resulting in sustained growth in tourism.
Notably, on the Chief Minister's initiative, the state-level Independence Day celebration was held in Jodhpur last year, strengthening the city's national identity and boosting tourism.
