FMGE December 2025 Examination Results Announced : Overall Pass Percentage at 23.37%
Udaipur. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for the December 2025 session. The examination was conducted on January 17, 2026.
Education counselor Vikas Chhajed informed that a total of 43,933 candidates appeared for the examination in this session. Out of these, 10,264 candidates qualified, while 32,604 candidates did not pass. The results of four candidates have been withheld due to pending document verification. Additionally, 1,061 candidates were absent from the examination. Scorecards will be made available on the official website from February 6.
The overall pass percentage for this session stood at 23.37%, showing an improvement compared to the June 2025 session, which recorded a pass percentage of 18.61%.
It is noteworthy that the FMGE is conducted for a total of 300 marks, and candidates are required to secure a minimum of 150 marks to qualify. Through the FMGE, students who have completed their medical education abroad become eligible to practice as doctors in India. After clearing the examination, candidates are also required to complete a mandatory internship in India.
Vikas Chhajed further stated that several students from Udaipur have successfully cleared the examination. These include Shubham Patidar, Hiranshi Shah, Yashvardhan Gaur, Rishi Baheti, Golden Singh Panwar, Sejal Badiwal, Vivek Prajapat, and Rudraksh Acharya, among others, who passed the examination with good scores. The successful candidates credited their achievement to the support of their families and the guidance of their mentor, Dr. Priyansh Jain.
