Mahendra Godara of Lalgarh Benefits from Irrigation Tank

Sri Ganganagar: Under the direction of Honorable Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Gram Utthan Camps organized across the district’s Girdawar circles have proven highly beneficial for the public. These camps not only provide on-the-spot solutions to local issues but also give residents access to information and immediate benefits from various central and state government welfare schemes. Beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Government of Rajasthan for the assistance received.

On Saturday, a Gram Utthan Camp was held in Lalgarh, Girdawar Circle, Sri Ganganagar district. Mr. Mahendra Godara, son of Rampratap Godara, attended the camp. He shared that his agricultural land is located in 3 LLG Chak, and he had applied to the Agriculture Department for the construction of an irrigation tank. Following departmental guidelines, the tank was successfully constructed.

The beneficiary stated that the department provided ₹3.40 lakh for the tank’s construction. Before the tank, irrigation relied on open water, which did not adequately cover the entire field. With the new tank, the use of sprinkler and drip irrigation has expanded the irrigated area and improved crop yield. Mahendra Godara expressed his gratitude to the Government of Rajasthan for the irrigation tank grant.
