Sri Ganganagar: Following the directives of the State Government, administrative officials, led by District Collector Dr. Manju, conducted inspections of veterinary hospitals on Saturday. During the visit, officials also inspected Animal Health Centers and sub-health centers, providing necessary instructions to the officials of the Animal Husbandry Department.
The District Collector inspected the veterinary hospital located in the old settlement area. During the visit, she gathered information from the attending medical officers and also took feedback from local livestock owners. Reviewing the availability of medicines and treatment supplies, the District Collector instructed the medical staff to provide operational details about the hospital and encouraged livestock owners to insure their animals under the Mangal Pashu Bima Yojana.
She emphasized that, in accordance with the vision of Honorable Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, animals and livestock owners should benefit from departmental schemes. She also directed that treatment for immobile or seriously ill animals should be ensured through Mobile Veterinary Units. ADM Vigilance Reena and other departmental officials and medical staff were present during the inspection.
Following the District Collector’s instructions, the ADM, CEO of District Council, SDM, BDO, and Tehsildar also conducted inspections of veterinary hospitals. Officials reviewed the operations of Animal Health Centers and sub-health centers and provided necessary guidelines to the Animal Husbandry Department officials.
