###Grand Convocation Ceremony Held at Darshan Dental College
Udaipur A grand convocation ceremony was organized at Darshan Dental College and Hospital for students of the BDS 2020 batch and MDS 2022 batch. The occasion was marked by enthusiasm, pride, and a celebratory atmosphere.
The dignified event was graced by Chief Guest J.P. Agrawal, Special Guest Professor Dr. Kailash Sodani, Program President and College Trustee Dr. J.K. Tayalia, Chief Advisor N.S. Khamesra, Principal Dr. Vikas Puniya, Vice Principal Dr. Ravikiran Gowda, along with faculty members.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest J.P. Agrawal inspired students to achieve their goals through discipline, hard work, and dedication, while sharing experiences from his 40-year-long career. He encouraged young doctors to provide quality healthcare services in both urban and rural areas of society. Special Guest Professor Dr. Kailash Sodani shared his valuable experiences and motivated students to remain persistent and continue progressing on the path of success, emphasizing the importance of commitment and perseverance.
Program President and Trustee Dr. J.K. Tayalia delivered an inspiring and insightful address, instilling confidence, positivity, and a broader vision among the graduating students. His words energized the students and motivated them to strive for excellence in their professional and personal lives.
During the ceremony, PG Director Dr. Ruchi Arora administered the Hippocratic Oath, reaffirming the students’ commitment to ethical medical practice and dedicated service to humanity. More than 400 people, including parents and guardians of the students, attended the ceremony. Receiving degrees in the presence of parents and teachers was an emotional and proud moment for the graduates.
Principal Dr. Vikas Puniya congratulated students for their academic excellence and announced that Dr. Vidhi Rathore secured first position and the Best Student award in BDS, while Dr. Swarnendra Nag from the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics secured first position in MDS.
The event was successfully organized under the leadership of Chief Convener Dr. Ravikiran Gowda and Special Convener Dr. Lakit Chaturvedi. The ceremony concluded with a warm farewell by the college management and faculty, wishing the students a bright future and a successful professional career.
