Financial Assistance Granted for Farm Equipment and Organic Farming; Relief Brings Smiles to Farmers’ Faces

Udaipur: Under the Gram Utthan Abhiyan, launched on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma to provide the benefits of various government schemes to farmers and the general public across the state, Gram Utthan camps were organized on Sunday in seven Girdawar Circle areas of the district. Through these camps, beneficiaries received on-the-spot benefits from schemes of 13 departments, including agriculture and animal husbandry.
The camp held in Kolyari Girdawar Circle under Panchayat Samiti Phalasia proved to be a major relief for farmers. Under the guidance of Camp In-charge Pratap Singh Meena, officials from the Agriculture Department distributed financial sanction letters for agricultural machinery to five farmers. Additionally, 12 farmers received on-the-spot sanction letters for financial assistance of ₹10,000 each under the Govardhan Organic Farming Scheme. Financial approvals were also granted to two farmers under the Khet Talai (farm pond) scheme and to two farmers for farming with bullocks. The immediate benefits received at the camp brought visible खुशी and smiles to the farmers’ faces. They expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma and the state administration.
On Sunday, Gram Utthan camps were organized at Bambora, Mavli, Khairoda, Vas, Mamer, Kolyari, and Makradev. A total of 13 departments participated, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Revenue, Agricultural Marketing, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Cooperation, Water Resources, Energy, Industries, Rural Development, and Panchayati Raj.
During the camps, approvals were granted for barbed wire fencing, pipeline installations, farm ponds, and incentive amounts under the bullock farming scheme. Verification of Soil Health Card distribution and seed minikit distribution was carried out. Approvals were also issued for sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, plastic mulch, solar pump installations, and applications under the Chief Minister Kisan Sathi Assistance Scheme.
Similarly, distribution of Swamitva Cards, identification of repair requirements for canals and drains, registration under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, and activities related to the Youth Self-Employment Scheme were also completed. The on-the-spot delivery of benefits once again brought smiles to the faces of farmers.
