Government Budget Is a Reform Express That Will Rapidly Take Every Section Forward: MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat
Udaipur: Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat said that the Union Budget presented by the Government of India takes forward all reform-oriented initiatives in the country. He described it as a “Reform Express”, a fast-moving train that will accelerate progress for every section of society—farmers, workers, women, youth, the middle class, exporters, and entrepreneurs associated with MSMEs.
He stated that the budget includes major announcements for women, especially by expanding initiatives for Rajeevika Didis, going beyond the Lakhpati Didi scheme with new programs. The budget also focuses on the development of tourist destinations, including plans to train 10,000 tourist guides and promote cultural tourism.
Dr. Rawat said that reducing the TCS rate to 2% for students pursuing education abroad is a significant relief for middle-class families. The formation of a high-powered committee on Education to Employment and Enterprise reflects the intent to move education beyond degrees and link it with employment and entrepreneurship.
He added that the budget strongly embodies the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.” It will strengthen women empowerment, uplift youth, ensure security for senior citizens, promote trade and industry, and provide relief to the common people. This budget, he said, is not just an economic document but a roadmap for a strong, prosperous, and inclusive India.
Dr. Rawat further stated that schemes related to women’s education, skill development, self-employment, and self-reliance have been strengthened, enabling women to become more socially and economically empowered. For youth, special focus on job creation, startups, Skill India, and technical education has laid a strong foundation for the nation’s future.
Provisions related to social security and healthcare for senior citizens are important steps toward ensuring them a dignified and secure life. At the same time, decisions aimed at investment promotion and ease of doing business for traders, small industries, and large enterprises will give fresh momentum to the economy.
One of the most commendable announcements in the budget, Dr. Rawat said, is the move to make medicines for diseases such as cancer and diabetes more affordable, which will directly benefit poor, middle-class, and needy families and make healthcare more accessible.
He concluded by saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister have presented a people-centric budget that will take India toward becoming a global leader. This budget successfully meets the expectations of every section of society.
