Udaipur: To mark **World Cancer Day 2026**, Paras Health Udaipur, in collaboration with the **Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur DIVAS**, organized a cancer awareness walkathon. The objective of the walkathon was to spread awareness about cancer prevention, the importance of early detection, and the need for personalized care. This initiative reflected this year’s global theme, **“United by Unique,”** which emphasizes that while every cancer journey is personal and unique, the fight against cancer is a collective one.
The walkathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from healthcare professionals, social organizations, cancer survivors, and local residents. This strong turnout highlighted community solidarity in promoting cancer awareness and breaking myths associated with the disease. The walk began at the **Fateh Sagar Aquarium** and concluded at **Kala Gate, Fateh Sagar**, symbolizing a collective step toward timely diagnosis and informed action.
The event aimed to encourage preventive health practices and foster open discussions about cancer, its early warning signs, and the importance of seeking timely medical advice.
