Paras Health Udaipur Organizes Cancer Awareness Walkathon on World Cancer Day
Udaipur: To mark World Cancer Day 2026, Paras Health Udaipur, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur Diwas, organized a Cancer Awareness Walkathon aimed at spreading awareness about cancer prevention, the importance of early detection, and the need for personalized care.
The initiative reflected this year’s global theme, “United by Unique,” emphasizing that while every cancer journey is personal and different, the fight against cancer is a collective responsibility.
The walkathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from healthcare professionals, social organizations, cancer survivors, and local residents. Their involvement highlighted strong community solidarity in raising awareness about cancer and breaking long-standing myths associated with the disease.
The awareness walk began at the Fateh Sagar Aquarium and concluded at the Kala Gate, Fateh Sagar. The event encouraged people to take proactive steps toward timely diagnosis, informed decision-making, and prompt medical intervention.
Through this initiative, Paras Health Udaipur aimed to promote preventive health practices and foster open conversations about cancer, its early warning signs, and the importance of seeking timely medical advice, reinforcing the message that awareness and early action can save lives.
