Udaipur: The Department of Posts, Government of India, will organize a special insurance campaign titled “Har Nagrik Bima Kavach” during the month of February. The objective of the campaign is to provide insurance coverage to every citizen under Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) schemes.
The primary focus of the campaign is to extend financial security to citizens, particularly those from rural, remote, and economically weaker sections, ensuring protection for their families in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
To ensure the effective and successful implementation of the campaign, a workshop was organized on Thursday by the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Udaipur Division, for all direct agents, field officers, and concerned DO PLI officials. During the workshop, detailed discussions were held on campaign strategy, outreach planning, and achieving the goal of providing insurance coverage to the last mile.
Addressing the workshop, the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Udaipur Division, directed field officers and agents to work with complete dedication and commitment, ensuring outreach to every village, town, and remote area of the Udaipur Division. The aim, he emphasized, is to ensure that no eligible citizen is deprived of insurance protection and that maximum people are connected to India Post insurance schemes.
On this occasion, the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices specially appreciated the outstanding performance of field officer Deepak Kumar Gupta of the Udaipur Division. He informed that during the financial year 2024–25, Gupta achieved a total sum assured of ₹27.81 crore, reflecting the trust and confidence of the public in India Post insurance schemes. This achievement stands as a testament not only to Gupta’s individual efforts but also to the dedicated work culture of the Udaipur Division.
The workshop also reiterated that India Post Insurance is among the most secure, reliable, and people-centric insurance services in the country, providing insurance coverage and financial protection to citizens for decades. The department reaffirmed its commitment to continuously expanding its services to ensure insurance security for every citizen.
At the conclusion of the workshop, all direct agents, field officers, and concerned DO PLI officials pledged to work with full dedication and commitment to make the February special insurance campaign a success.
