Residents Benefit from Government Schemes at Netewala Village Development Camp

Sriganganagar: Following state government directives, a Gram Utthan-2026 (Village Development 2026) camp was organized on Friday at Netewala under the supervision of the Land Records Inspector. Officials from various departments provided farmers and livestock owners with information about government schemes and initiatives.
Mr. Tarachand Limba, Assistant Agriculture Officer from the Agriculture Department, explained the benefits of Soil Health Testing and Crop Insurance, urging villagers to take full advantage of these programs.
The camp in-charge, Mr. Adaram Nayak, Deputy Tehsildar of Mirjewala, stated that the Rural Development Department promoted the VBG Ram Ji scheme during the camp. The Panchayati Raj Department distributed 150 ownership cards. The Animal Husbandry Department provided primary treatment to 236 animals, conducted 2 artificial inseminations, and distributed 80 fertility kits.
He further reported that the Cooperative Department enrolled 14 new members and shared details about cooperative loan schemes. The Agriculture Department distributed 66 Soil Health Cards and verified 106 mini-kit distributions. Updates on 14 Tarbandi and 32 Diggi applications were provided. Revenue Patwaris helped 95 farmers download and use the Kisan Girdawari app.
Additionally, the camp facilitated registrations for 5 PM-Surya solar schemes, 16 Youth Self-Employment forms, 5 applications for Khala reconstruction, and 20 Kisan Credit Card applications. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister for the immediate assistance received during the camp.
The camp was attended by Administrator Mrs. Anita Takhar, Dharampal Saharan, Land Records Inspector, Mr. Harish Mittal, GM Industry, Mr. Naresh Kumar Meena, Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, Mr. Tarachand Limba, Assistant Agriculture Officer, revenue patwaris, agriculture supervisors, other officials, local representatives, and enthusiastic villagers.
