Jaipur. Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari presented the prestigious 12th All India Stone Architectural Award (AISA) - 2025 to renowned architect Pramod Jain for his outstanding project, the Marwar International Center (MIC), Jodhpur. The award included a trophy and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.
Architect Pramod Jain received this honor at a grand ceremony organized by the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) on Friday evening at the India Stone Mart being held at JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur.
The award citation described Architect Jain as a visionary architect and lauded him for his innovative and exceptional use of stone. The jury specifically praised the Marwar International Center as an outstanding building inspired by Jodhpur's rich architectural heritage. Constructed from local Soorsagar sandstone, the building presents traditional stone construction techniques in a contemporary and innovative style. Its striking facade, grand entrance, and subtle traditional embellishments were particularly appreciated.
The award selection was made by a distinguished national jury comprising the President of the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi, the President of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), the President of the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID), Mumbai, and the President of the Indian Society of Landscape Architects (ISOLA).
Earlier, the renowned architect Pramod Jain had also received the Designscape Award-2024 for the Rajasthan International Center (RIC), Jaipur, and the MIC, Jodhpur, in 2025.
It is noteworthy that Jaipur-based Pramod Jain has over five decades of experience in the field of architecture, and his career has been enriched by numerous significant national and international projects. He also designed the architecture of the famous Rajasthan International Center in Jaipur, as evidenced by the plaque outside the center.
Under AISA-2025, other architects from across the country were also honored in categories such as interior design, landscape architecture, and green architecture, celebrating excellence in the field of stone-based design in Jaipur.
