Prosperous Farmers: Major Subsidy on Rotavator, Relief through Livestock Insurance
Udaipur: Under the public welfare initiatives of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Gram Utthan Camps are being successfully organized across Udaipur district with the objective of providing quick and effective benefits of various government schemes directly to the common people. In this series, camps were organized on Saturday at seven Girdawar circles, where a large number of rural residents participated enthusiastically and availed benefits of government schemes.
District Collector Shri Namit Mehta informed that Gram Utthan Camps were organized at Kurabad (Kurabad Tehsil), Bhimal (Mavli Tehsil), Batharda Kalan (Vallabhnagar), Diyan (Sayra Tehsil), Malwa Ka Chora (Kotra), Dharawan (Phalasia), and Bhuvana (Badgaon) Girdawar circles. Officers from departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Panchayati Raj, and Social Justice & Empowerment participated in the camps. During the camps, public grievances were resolved on the spot and eligible beneficiaries were provided benefits under various welfare schemes.
₹53,000 Subsidy Makes Farming Easier
Under this initiative, a camp organized at the Government Senior Secondary School in Gram Panchayat Dharawan (Phalasia Tehsil) brought prosperity to several rural families. Under the leadership of Camp In-charge Tehsildar Shri Abhishek Daranga and Co-Incharge Naib Tehsildar Shri Satyanarayan Damor, the initiatives of the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments yielded positive results.
Smt. Ramila Devi, wife of Chandulal Bhanat, resident of Buja, was sanctioned a substantial subsidy of ₹53,000 for a rotavator agricultural implement. Upon receiving the sanction letter, the farmer family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the government and administration.
Additionally, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), the Panchayati Raj Department handed over house keys to Dinesh s/o Laxman, Deepchand s/o Laxman, and Poonamchand s/o Kalji. The families expressed immense happiness as their dream of owning a permanent house was fulfilled.
At the camp organized in Bhimal (Mavli area), in the presence of Sub-Divisional Officer Shri Rameshchandra Sirvi, the Animal Husbandry Department distributed insurance policies to several livestock owners under the Chief Minister Mangla Livestock Insurance Scheme.
PM Surya Ghar Brings Light, ₹95,000 Subsidy Granted
A Gram Utthan Camp was organized at Gram Panchayat Thur under Girdawar Circle Thur. During the camp, the Energy Department approved the installation of a 3.3 kW solar rooftop system under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana for Shri Bhupendra Meena, son of Harish Meena, resident of Badgaon.
The total project cost of ₹1,80,000 included a subsidy of ₹78,000 from the Central Government and ₹17,000 from the State Government, amounting to a total subsidy of ₹95,000, along with an additional ₹5,000 discount from the vendor. As a result, the beneficiary had to pay only ₹80,000, receiving significant financial relief. The beneficiaries and villagers present praised the state government and the Chief Minister for organizing these Gram Utthan Camps.
Fencing to Secure Farmlands
For farmer Pratap Singh, son of Sumer Singh, resident of Barda (Badgaon area), the Gram Utthan Camp at Gram Panchayat Thur proved to be a major relief. Concerned about protecting his farmland, he received immediate approval of a ₹48,000 subsidy for installing 400 meters of fencing under the Agriculture Department’s scheme. Expressing happiness over the prompt assistance, the farmer appreciated the state government’s Gram Utthan Camps and their swift implementation.
Camps Scheduled on Sunday
Under the campaign, Gram Utthan Camps will be organized on Sunday, February 8, at Sakroda (Kurabad Tehsil), Nandli and Dabok (Mavli), Gogunda (Gogunda Tehsil), and Som Girdawar Circle (Phalasia Tehsil).
