Sri Ganganagar: Under the directions of Hon’ble Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Gram Uthan (Village Development) Camps being held in the Girdawar Circle are proving highly beneficial for the public. These camps not only address citizens’ issues on the spot but also provide information about welfare schemes of the central and state governments, allowing beneficiaries to access the schemes’ benefits immediately. Beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Rajasthan government upon receiving assistance.
A Gram Uthan Camp was recently organized in Ganeshgarh, Girdawar Circle, Sri Ganganagar on Saturday. During the camp, Shree Deendayal, son of Shri Kesararam, resident of Ganeshgarh, shared his experience of the Irrigation Tank (Diggi) Scheme. He owns agricultural land measuring 27 LNP, for which he applied to the Agriculture Department to construct a diggi. Following departmental guidelines, the diggi was successfully constructed.
Mr. Deendayal explained that before the diggi was built, water was supplied through open channels, which could not irrigate the entire field. Now, with the use of sprinkler and drip irrigation, the irrigated area has increased significantly, resulting in improved crop production. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Rajasthan government for providing the diggi grant.
