Udaipur: The 27th grand mass marriage ceremony organised by Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan, Udaipur Division, will be held on Tuesday, 10th February at the Fateh School Campus, where 40 couples will tie the knot.
Ahead of the main ceremony, all brides and grooms arrived in Udaipur on Monday. The groom’s families were accommodated at Hotel Dev Darshan, while the bride’s families stayed at Vasupujya Jain Dharamshala.
According to Sant Singh Bhati, President of the Sansthan, the wedding rituals formally began with the Ganesh installation at the Rajput Mahasabha Bhawan, Raoji Hatta, followed by the Kalash Sthapana accompanied by traditional band music.
In the evening, the Haldi ceremony was organised at Hotel Dev Darshan, followed by a vibrant women’s sangeet, where women dressed in traditional Rajput attire danced and celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Pradeep Singh Bhati, General Secretary, informed that on Tuesday morning at 9 am, a grand Bindoli (wedding procession) will commence from Town Hall, featuring 40 horses and 10 buggies. The procession will pass through Surajpol and Fateh Memorial before reaching the Fateh School Campus.
The Torana ceremony will take place at 1 pm, followed by Varmala and marriage rituals. Guests will be welcomed as per Rajput traditions, and the event will conclude with a grand community feast (Bhandara).
The Rajput Mahasabha has appealed to community members and city residents to participate in and bless this historic mass marriage ceremony.
