Grand Sindhi Women’s Cricket (JPL-4) Organized by Sindhi Central Youth Service Committee

Udaipur: In a vibrant display of energy, talent, and team spirit, the Sindhi Central Youth Service Committee successfully organized the Sindhi Women’s Cricket – JPL-4 tournament, aimed at encouraging women’s active participation in the community and providing them a break from daily household routines. The thrilling event took place at the Kingdom of Sports in Sukher, where women and young girls from the community competed with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Mukesh Khilwani, General Secretary of the committee, shared that the competition featured four teams, each named after their respective promoters:
•    PFC Women – 7
•    Makeup by Divya Vanwaria – 7
•    Style n Smile by Yogita Mata – 7
•    Gajanand Bangal – 7
The tournament included five league matches among the teams. Each match was highly competitive, showcasing the players’ confidence, teamwork, and cricketing skills, keeping the audience thoroughly entertained.
Players were recognized for their outstanding performances across various categories. Vijay Ahuja, Committee President, announced the awards:
•    Player of the Series & Best Batsman: Aradhya
•    Best Fielder: Ayushi
•    Best Bowler: Sunita Chhatwani
•    Woman of the Match awards went to Roshni, Chhavi, and again Roshni for their exceptional contributions.
The tournament featured several historic and thrilling moments, much to the delight of the women participants. The final match was particularly exciting, with PFC Women – 7 clinching victory over Makeup by Divya Vanwaria – 7 on the last ball, thrilling spectators till the very end.
The successful execution of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of President Vijay Ahuja, along with committee members Manish Dembla, Mukesh Gakhreja, Vinod Wadhwani, Vijay Kasturi, Sanjay Khaturia, Kapil Nachani, Rajesh Khatri, Bhavesh Taldar, Kamal Talreja, and Amit Chadda, all of whom played a crucial role in ensuring the tournament’s success.
At the conclusion of the event, the committee encouraged all participating players and reaffirmed their commitment to organizing similar women-centric events in the future, promoting sports, enthusiasm, and community engagement among Sindhi women.
