Monthly Poetry Session of “Lafzon Ki Mehfil” Held at Ashoka Palace
Udaipur: The prestigious literary organization of the city, Lafzon Ki Mehfil, organized its monthly poetry session and an evening dedicated to Udaipur Ratna Dr. Iqbal Sagar on Sunday at the banquet hall of Ashoka Palace. On this occasion, several senior and young poets of the city presented their finest compositions, creating an atmosphere filled with literary charm and emotion.
Founder Mukesh Madhwani shared that during the session, all participants of the January poetry competition were awarded certificates of recognition. In the competition, Anita Jain secured the first place, Sheikh Muhammad Hanif Rizvi took second, and Bansilal Lohar finished third. All winners were honored with special prizes and trophies.
The program’s chief guest was Dr. Prem Bhandari, with Dr. Johra Khan and Dr. Sheetal Shrimali as distinguished guests, and the session was presided over by Mukesh Madhwani.
Coordinator Pt. Purushottam Shakadweepi “Premi” noted that the event featured readings from numerous poets and writers, including Dr. Prem Bhandari, Shahid Hussain Shaida, Pt. Purushottam Shakadweepi “Premi,” Prof. Vimal Sharma, Subhash Agarwal Saaki, Gulzar Chittorgarhi, Sanjay Gupta Devesh, Shad Udaipuri, Advocate Riaz Khan, Shakeel Alauddin, Arun Tripathi, Shrenidan Charan, Dr. Ishaq Furqat, Dr. Iqbal Sagar, Bansilal Lohar, Akhilesh Joshi, Prakash Tated, Dr. Sheetal Shrimali, Anita Jain, Vandana Gupta, Reshma Sharma, Kamal Prakash Mehta, Arun Chaubisa, Akbar Shad, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Pt. Manmohan Madhukar, Chandresh Khatri, Dr. Rajkumar Raj, Dr. Namrata Jain, Manohar Lal Mukhiya, Poonam Bhoo Poonam, Mamta Mahatma, Meenakshi Panwar, Advocate Devendra Singh Hiran, Dr. Gopal Raj Gopal, and Dr. Johra Khan. Their readings and performances made the event a resounding success.
