Sriganganagar: Under the guidance of Shri Ravindra Kumar, Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority (District & Sessions Judge), Jaipur, a legal awareness camp was organized on Monday at the Government ANM Training Institute, Sriganganagar, by Shri Ravi Prakash Suthar, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (Additional District & Sessions Judge).
During the camp, ADJ Shri Suthar provided nursing students with detailed information about the NALSA scheme, Victim Compensation Scheme, Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, and laws against female foeticide. Students were also informed about the child care homes operating in Sriganganagar and urged to leave newborns in these homes rather than abandoning them, emphasizing the social responsibility of safeguarding children.
ADJ Shri Suthar stressed that saving daughters and ensuring their higher education is a societal duty. He highlighted that educated daughters can rise to prominent positions and help eradicate social evils. Additionally, he advised nursing students to perform their professional duties diligently after completing their training.
During the camp, Chief Advocate Shri Rohtash Yadav explained the provision of free legal aid under LADC and the functioning of LADC services. Students were also encouraged to pay full attention to their physical and mental well-being. The event was coordinated by LADC Shri Amandeep Chalana, with the presence of Principal Shri Suraj Sarsar and other faculty members.
